indows or Mac?

The answer is: BOTH. Many companies specialize in one of the platforms thus limiting their scope of expertise. Our goal is to have a broader scope and many specialists in multiple fields so we can combine and create new out-of-the-box solutions.

The story about the desktop development is not a happy one. At the current moment the mobile gadgets are hot and sexy, and it looks like everybody is abandoning the desktop development. But the latter is within its infant stage. Let’s not forget that the most powerful hardware on the market is made for the desktop products. And as the users feel neglected by the giants, we think there is a great and magical future in developing software for the most advanced platforms ever created.

HTML 5 as the future

“Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.”

As Microsoft wants you to believe, yes, it is so; but the reality is somewhat different. All web browsers still have a huge limitation to display colossal amounts of information and the recently resurrected JavaScript promising a new and bright future, is something like the emperor’s new clothes. The reality is that the web browsers have almost no access to the hardware of your super powerful machine. The web is struggling to repeat all the functionality of desktop controls and technologies. HTML 5 is a great revision of well-known html standard but it has a long way ahead in the direction of reaching desktop apps with full hardware support and acceleration.

As out-of-the-box thinkers, we see a great potential and opportunities for desktop advances.
